The institution plays numerous societal roles across various fields, engaging in charitable activities to support civil society. Basateen for Community Development is the first non-profit foundation established by a company operating in the fertilizer and agricultural inputs industry in the Arab Republic of Egypt. The foundation is dedicated to community development through collaboration with governmental and non-governmental institutions, aiming to enhance Egyptian society and contribute to the realization of Egypt's Vision 2030.
Strategy and Objectives: The foundation's strategy focuses on several key sectors, most notably the agricultural and environmental sectors, technical education, scientific research, climate protection, and the empowerment of youth and women. This is achieved through continuous training on modern systems in all fields related to development, sustainability, and the advancement of the agricultural sector to increase productivity. Additionally, the foundation supports the healthcare sector and activates the role of youth and women in the workforce, encouraging their participation in achieving Egypt's Vision 2030.

Dotra Academy has established protocols with major governmental universities to train graduates both theoretically and practically, enabling them to enter the job market with ease and confidence. The academy was founded to qualify and train young graduates from agricultural schools and colleges across various universities. We are committed to providing trainees with certificates of completion after the training program, recognizing the significant impact of young graduates on the development and progress of society.
The institution has placed great emphasis on preserving the religious aspect by organizing a competition for our children who have memorized the Quran, either in full or in parts, aged between 6 and 18 years. The aim is to honor and motivate them with gifts and financial rewards.
The Basateen for Community Development Foundation works to assist the underprivileged in civil society. It is committed to: Helping those unable to work by providing job opportunities. Offering in-kind assistance to orphanages and elderly care homes. Preparing brides for marriage. Organizing convoys to support our brothers and sisters in Palestine during their difficult times. And various other charitable activities.
Dotra Company, the founder of Basateen Foundation, is one of the pioneering companies operating in industries supporting agricultural projects.
